Problem

After logging into Queue Manager, the "Now loading, please wait" page will get stuck and never load into Queue Manager on Firefox. NOTE: Queue Manager 2.0 does not require flash.

Solution

You In order to load Queue Manager 1.0, you must enable Flash flash for the page. Please follow the steps below depending on the browser you are using. Qless suggests Firefox or Google Chrome.

For Firefox, please click the plugin icon to the left of the URL. It looks like a lego block, click "remember selection" box then choose allow.

For Google Chrome you will need to click "secure" that is highlighted in green. This will cause a drop down box and you will see Flash. To the right is a drop down, please select "Allow" and then refresh the page.

Some websites use Adobe Flash to display content. However, attackers can also use the security flaws in Flash to run malicious software on your computer and gain access to your system.

One way to protect yourself is by disabling or removing Flash, but if your trusted websites require Flash, you can change your plugin settings so that Flash runs only when you click to activate it.

Here’s how to set Flash to run on demand:

  1. Click the menu button Fx57menuImage Added and choose Fx57Addons-iconImage Added Add-ons. The Add-ons Manager tab will open.

  2. In the Add-ons Manager tab, select the Plugins panel.
  3. Look for Shockwave Flash on your list. Set it to Ask to Activate.

The next time you visit a website that requires Flash, click on the Activate Adobe Flash prompt to allow the plugin, if needed*:

*NOTE: I suggest clicking the "Remember this decision" so Flash will always allow the page to load.

When you click the prompt and allow the plugin, the missing content will load normally. If it doesn't, reload the page (click the reload FxReloadButtonImage Added button in the address bar) and try again.

*Before you activate Flash: Allow Flash only for trusted websites and content providers. Avoid activating Flash for ads or third-party content, or on sites you don't trust.
