What IP addresses do I need to be able to communicate with in order to use QLess?
Overview
When deploying into a secured environment, your network team may ask what network addresses and ports they will need to open access to in their firewall.
Host Names
Here are the network host names that users may need access to, depending on which applications they are using:
- If you are using the US servers:

In each of those 2 different environments, each of those host names currently all resolve to the same IP address. However, we do have a fail-over mechanism that means that they may occasionally resolve to different addresses. So if you want to restrict access at an address level instead of a host name level, here are the current IP addresses:

Ports
All communication with QLess Web UIs is done on the standard SSL port (443).
If you will be using Internet Explorer 8 or higher or an iPad to access our applications, you will also need to allow WebSocket communication with our servers on TCP port 8000.
Remote Support for QLess Monitor FitPCs requires access to sunlight.qless.com on UDP port 1194.
Remote Support for QLess Kiosk PCs require access to remote.qless.com on TCP ports 443 and 8200.
