How to Navigate Appointment View

To view appointments, click on the appointments tab.  This view allows you to see the list of scheduled appointments for the current day, as well as days in the future. In appointment view, you have the ability to sort customer information by clicking the heading for the column. This will sort the information in ascending or descending order, alphabetically or numerically, depending on the column.

To view appointments for a day in the future, use the date navigation controls near the top.

When viewing the status of an appointment, you may encounter the following options:

● Pending: This is the initial view after a customer schedules.  This customer is yet to be queued.

● Approved: You may use this to indicate that this appointment has been manually reviewed.  This is optional.

● Rejected: You may use this to indicate that this time slot should be available for others.  Rejecting an appointment cancels the appointment.

● Queued: This indicates that the customer’s appointment is approaching.  QLess adds the customer to the queue automatically.

● Failed : This indicates that the customer could not be queued. This status is automatically determined by QLess, and only in situations where something caused the customer to not join the queue.

You do have the ability to serve a customer early by clicking “begin service” or “summon”, depending on which is available due to how soon their appointment was scheduled to take place.  Please remember that in a typical summoning situation, you will want to use the summoning button outside of appointments view so as not to skip over your walk-in customers!
