How Are Customers Notified When They Reach the Front of a Queue?

Once a staff member has summoned a customer, there are a few ways that the customer might receive this notification.
If you have a monitor, the screen will display a "now serving" message along with the last four digits of the customer's cell phone number, the ticket number, or their name. An audio announcement also accompanies this notification. Audio announcements can be configured to say “next customer please”, or “now serving” with the last four digits of the customer phone number or the ticket number. This announcement may or may not include a window or station number as well.
If the customer provided their cell phone number, they will receive a notification via text message. If the customer prefers voice calls over text messages and this feature is included in your configuration, they will receive their notification via a call to the phone number they provided.
