How to I get my Windows Based Kiosk or Monitor connected?

If you have a new Kiosk provided by Qless, its quite easy to get it going! Qless will handle the configuration for you, you simply need to get us connected and let us know that its ready to be configured.

 

1.Power on and connect to a network

First thing, is to get your kiosk powered on and connected to a network, The kiosks run a standard windows 10 operating system and are capable of being connect to both WiFi or Ethernet. To do this, do the following.

 

  1. Gather the following: The kiosk keys, a keyboard, and a mouse

  2. open the Kiosk and look for the small Azulle access 4 Thin client PC, its usually mounted somewhere inside, has an antenna and a blue LED when powered.

  3. Determine how you want to connect to your network, if Ethernet, the thin client has an Ethernet port at the bottom, simply connect it.

  4. if you wish to use WiFi, simply power up the kiosk, connect your keyboard and mouse, and connect to WiFi using the windows 10 network settings. Your drivers come preinstalled.

2. Im connected to the network and powered, how does Qless connect?

  1. To get Qless connected, we will need to download the jump client to the kiosk, and then install it, its very simple.

  2. Open any web browser on the kiosk (Microsoft edge by default.) and navigate to the following link.

  5. Download and install the jump client, and give it privileges to allow Qless to configure and make changes to the device.

  6. Let us know you have got the device connected! (email support@qless.com) we will then remote in at the earliest convenience and configure the device for you, and then email you once its done!
