Let sites play Flash videos, animations, and games

Only allow Flash to run on websites that you trust. Security vulnerabilities are regularly found in Adobe Flash Player.

    1. When you visit a page you trust that has Flash content, click Click to enable Adobe Flash Player.
    2. Confirm by clicking Allow.

    The site needs Flash to work

    If you visit a website and it isn’t working, you may need to change your site settings to allow Flash.

    1. To the left of the web address, click Lock Lock or Info Information.
    2. At the bottom, click Site Settings.
    3. In the new tab, to the right of "Flash," click Allow.
    4. Go back to the site and reload the page.

Change your default Flash setting

  1. Always ask to run Flash (recommended)

    Choose "Always ask to run Flash" so it can't run without your permission. Only allow Flash to run on websites that you trust.
    1. On your computer, open Chrome.
    2. At the top right, click More More and then Settings.
    3. At the bottom, click Advanced.
    4. Under "Privacy and security," click Content settings.
    5. Click Flash.
    6. At the top, turn the setting to Ask first (recommended).

    Allow Flash to run on sites you trust

    1. On your computer, open Chrome.
    2. Go to a page you trust that has Flash content.
    3. To the left of the web address, click Lock Lock or Info Info.
    4. At the bottom, click Site Settings.
